Hey there, I'm Danie aka Mama Birder

Hi, I'm Danie Hermes avid bird fan and sometimes halfway decent avian photographer. I started my "minor birdfluencer" journey on Tiktok a few years ago and now have amassed around 10k followers around various platforms and growing.

I am a mother to one very energetic son (hence the Mama part of Mama Birder) and it was motherhood and a desire to see my son connect with nature in a meaningful way that brought me to birding. Now I am obsessed and hope that you join me on this journey of becoming a better and more mindful birder.
